The terms that apply when engaging our psychological services.
1. General Information
Agile Clinical Psychology ("the Practice") provides psychological assessment and treatment services to individuals. By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Appointments
Standard appointments are typically 50 minutes in duration. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals can result in a shortened session due to appointments scheduled following your appointment. Appointments may be conducted in person or via telehealth.
3. Fees and Payment
Fees are payable at the time of the appointment unless otherwise arranged. Medicare rebates may apply if you have a valid referral. Private health rebates may also be available depending on your provider.
4. Cancellation Policy
At least 24–48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a cancellation fee. Exceptions may apply in cases of emergency or illness.
5. Confidentiality
All information disclosed during sessions is treated as confidential. Confidentiality may be breached only where required by law or where there is a serious risk to the client or others. Clinical notes are kept in accordance with professional and legal standards.
6. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
7. Communication
Email and SMS may be used for administrative purposes only and are not suitable for urgent or crisis matters.
8. Emergency & Crisis Support
This Practice is not a crisis service. For urgent assistance contact Lifeline (13 11 14) or emergency services (000).
9. Therapeutic Relationship
Therapy is collaborative but outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Clients may cease therapy at any time. Referral may be recommended if needs fall outside scope.

11. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time and will be available on the website.
Informed Consent
Therapy involves discussing sensitive issues and may evoke emotional responses. Benefits include improved insight and coping. Limits of confidentiality apply. Telehealth carries additional risks (e.g., privacy, technical issues). Consent is required before proceeding.
